Since most people these days have a cell phone, it has become increasingly more important to make sure that we can get in touch with them even if we lose the number because this might be the primary way that they keep track of the outside world. If they are traveling then it is more than likely that they rely on that phone number for all their calls so if we can get a hold of it easily then we will stand a much better chance of getting a hold of them, too.
