There is nothing worse than looking for a job, but that is exactly the position that I find myself in.  It certainly was expected after my recent move, but it doesn’t mean that I have to like it, right?  Anyway, I have been spending the last few days looking for work, and I have found some interesting possibilities.

First off, I there is a bank just down the street that is looking for a teller.  Honestly, I really thought that bank tellers were a thing of the past, but it seems that it is still a viable profession.  What I really like about this job is that there would be some room for advancement – I really would like to work as a financial advisor and help others with their financial situation, so this job might be good for me.

But the job that really jumps out at me would be the position available at an iPhone app development company here in town.  I love the fact that I would be able to use my education as part of my career, and I would feel a lot better putting that diploma on my wall to use.  They would also be on the cutting edge of technology, and I think it would be a challenging job where I would actually be able to use my brain.

I don’t know where I will work, but I think I will go out tomorrow and hand out some resumes.  I have some savings in the bank anyway, so if I don’t get a job right away, I do have some time to look – there has to be something out there for me.
